It is made from natural fresh pomegranate fruits grown in the mountainous regions of the Ararat valley.
All over the world pomegranate wines are dry and only in Armenia it is possible to grow pomegranates with such a high sugar content that they become suitable for the production of semi-sweet and even sweet wines.
Pomegranate red semisweet wine TM Kilikia is made according to the classical wine technology without the addition of sugar. Purified and crushed fruits undergo fermentation and maceration in galvanized tanks, after which the wort is aged in oak barrels for at least six months.
The finished wine has a dark red color with a ruby reflection. The taste is expressive, with notes of pomegranate and red fruits, rich, fresh and with sourness. Fresh aftertaste of remarkable duration.
Pomegranate wine of TM Kilikia is recommended to serve chilled with fruit or dessert.
